RAIN DATE - TBA, if we get rained out a new date, will be scheduled, and participants will be notified.
For the final session in this workshop series, we will be letting the wild, untended joy of our inner child come out and play at Plum Island beach on the Parker River Wild Life Refuge in Plum Island MA. The refuge and beach are a beautiful place to get close to the natural world and enjoy all the healing it has to offer.
This will be an early day since parking fills up fast at the refuge, we must be there no later than 7:00 am. You are encouraged to carpool as the fee to enter is $5.00 per car. (Fee is not included in Price of Session)
We will meet on the beach at 8 am for an opening circle, the last reading from the book, and our final meditation. Afterward, there will be time for discussion, questions, and journaling. Then we will have our closing circle and award anyone who has satisfactorily completed the exercises in the companion journal, the Gaia's Steward pendant as a symbol and certification of all the hard work they have done.
After our celebration ceremony is complete, we have the rest of the day free to enjoy the beach and the refuge. Bring your beach day supplies, set-up and soak up the beautiful day!
Ocean Meditation: This is a relaxing meditation that uses the sound of the waves as a mantra for releasing stress. We will sit on the shore and allow the waves to pull out our anxiety, fear, doubt, and heaviness of day to day life, to be washed away and replaced by untended joy and energy.
*NOTE* Anyone who completes the exercises and meditations in the companion journal "Gaia's Calling - Rediscovery Journal" and has their work reviewed by Alicia Cubbage will receive a Gaia's Steward pendant. You do not need to attend all four sessions.
