RAIN DATE - TBA, if we get rained out a new date, will be scheduled, and participants will be notified.
We begin this session at dawn on the front lawn of the Harris Center for Conservation Education in Hancock NH. After a Sunrise meditation, we will have a picnic breakfast together and then enjoy the beauty and healing of the flowers. The last part of our session we will spend with, Jen Knight Shamanic Medicine Woman, as she takes us on a plant walk on the Harris Center property and trails.
Sunrise Meditation: Sunrise is my favorite time of day. It is quiet, still and cool. There is magic anticipation in the air as if all earth’s creatures are waiting for the right moment to being their daily rituals. In the moments before the sun crests the horizon, I feel like anything is possible, and magic is real. It is a wonderful time to tap into the magic of nature and fill yourself up with energetic possibilities.
Flower Power: Flowers are not only pretty to look at and pleasing to smell, but they also have healing properties that they are happy to share with anyone who cares to sit down and listen, which is precisely what we will do for this exercise.
Plant Walk: Plant Walks are an entertaining way to get outside and connect with the natural world. They are also simple and keep you going back out again and again. For this session, we have the good fortune of having Jen Knight, Shamanic Medicine Woman as our guide on our plant walk.
BREAKFAST - Picnic style BYO - Suggestions; Thermos of oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea, other portable breakfast items of your choosing.
